june

As we step fully into summer, June invites us into a season of Freedom & Joy.

With our homes optimized and our morning routines anchored, we turn our attention to the physical body and the changing elements. As the days lengthen, we focus on nourishing our external layers and giving ourselves permission to embrace lightness.

We will explore how to shed the heavy layers of the workweek, care for the skin that carries us through times of transition, and find unfiltered joy in our movement and community.

June invites a season of unapologetic joy, physical nourishment, and unburdened freedom.

  • Botanical Balm-Making: Giving Your Skin the Care It Needs

    06.13 10:00–11:30am @ Eries Interiors

June in the Mid-Atlantic marks a seasonal transition. As we move from the gentle warmth of spring into the heavy humidity and intense sun of summer, our bodies and our skin must adapt.

This immersive, 90-minute workshop is an invitation to slow down and craft medicine directly from our environment. You will learn the ancient art of anhydrous balm-making using pure, locally sourced Virginia beeswax and regionally grown herbs (like Calendula, Plantain, Yarrow, and Lemon Balm).

    What you will experience:

The Craft: A hands-on, guided session where you will blend your own custom herbal balm tailored to your skin's current needs.

The Knowledge: You will leave empowered with our "Master Ratio" so you can confidently craft your own botanical skincare at home for any season.

The Connection: A dedicated space to ground yourself, enjoy curated herbal tea, and connect with the Demati community while your balms cool and set.

We provide all the organic raw materials, glass beakers, and tins. Simply bring yourself!

As a special thank you, attendees will receive a surprise gift from Demati and an exclusive 10% discount to shop at Eries Interiors before leaving.

Note: Spots are limited to keep the experience intimate.
